Josiah R Johnston

I am a father, writer, anthropologist, teacher, explorer, linguist, and poet. I have lived in eight countries, traveled through forty, speak five languages, and I'm just getting started. I've won  and placed in a number of national essay competitions, documented the last speakers of endangered languages in the Peruvian amazon and Costa Rica, excavated a Minoan Ruin in Crete, lived in a Tibbetan Buddhist Monastery in Qinghai Province, China, and many other great adventures. But in my family I've found my greatest journey.
