If humanity desires to even have the slightest chance of understanding modern society and the global economy, then studying mathematics has to be at the forefront of our educational system.

In addition to learning the fundamentals of how the modern world works, studying mathematics can help to develop various critical thinking skills. These skills include problem-solving techniques, logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and analytical thinking skills. It’s interesting to note that there is also a positive correlation between an individual’s annual salary and the level of mathematics that they complete in school. According to research by Renaissance Learning Students who had completed a calculus course had a 65% greater annual salary than students whose math education did not progress past basic mathematics.
