If you are granted the Deutschlandstipendium for a year, then I think showing 5040 euros in your blocked account will be enough. There is no need to show the full 8640 euros since you will be provided with 300 euros every month.
I have been admitted in OVGU Magdeburg for Msc chemical & energy engineering which is a fully English course and doesn't require any German certificate. I have A2 level of German (which I also submitted during my application) but the certificate is older than 12 months and so the embassy doesn't consider it valid. How should I represent my knowledge of German at the visa interview?
I applied for a Language Course Visa a week ago in India. I have finished B2 and want to continue further until C2 in Berlin. I have registered with a language school for 5 months and paid the fees. I wish to become a German language teacher or trainer in India. My problem is I have a Bachelors degree in Engineering which I acquired in 2010 and have been idle for the rest of years after working for a year. Would this be a problem?
My 12th intermediate was in pre-engineering where I obtained a percentage of 75. I also scored a 6.5 in the IELTS. My visa has been previously refused by the Canadian Embassy. I now intend to pursue a bachelors in Computer Science in English in Germany. What are my chances of securing an admission at a German University and how long till my IELTS certificate becomes invalid?
My son applied for a masters degree in Germany, but unfortunately, he was deemed ineligible. He holds a BTech in Engineering Physics from Delhi Technological University. He was told that his undergraduate program has different subjects in comparison to the ones at German universities. What should he do?
I applied for a masters degree program taught in English. I arranged all the required documents in an appropriate manner. When I handed the documents to the officer, she quickly checked them and took my biometrics and told me to pay the fees. During this process, she asked me only three questions about how many brothers and sisters I had, about my father’s job, and if I knew any German which I answered no. I am now worried and feel it is weird to be asked only three questions. Is this normal or not?
I want to be sure that no documents are missing and my visa is accepted. For instance, the statement of purpose isn't listed on my Embassy's checklist. Do I still have to send it? Can you please list all the requirements for a German Visa. I also read on the internet that an affidavit of support and a cover letter are sometimes required. Can you please elaborate on this?
