Please note this is a general response to provide an insight into where to locate them in the book.
1. The elder telling Nyobi to bless the traditional medicine. It is superstition but is termed as a traditional practice because it is something that has always been practiced in the tribe. The elder tells Nyobi how the white men thought about the medicine which the elders believe is very powerful.
2. The leader telling the elders Remi was bewitched. Also, this is superstition but in the modern world is considered a traditional belief because the modern world believes such thing as bewitching exists.
3. Wife inheritance. Remi's mother pleading with him to marry Thoni after he refuses. Also, the elders pleading with him to marry Thoni.
4. The elders leaving behind them the traditional medicine at Remi's room. Another instance of superstition but also termed as a traditional belief.
It appears traditional beliefs and superstition have appeared in many places.
I would superstition appears a lot if we have to differentiate between superstition and traditional beliefs.
