Will we ever recognize other intelligent beings in the universe and be able to communicate with them if they don't have similar physical traits as we humans?


This is a very important issue with finding intelligent life elsewhere that I have been discussing in this article.

We have our own interpretation of life. We are carbon-based animals, and other lifeforms may be based on an entirely different chemical structure.

Therefore, we may fail to acknowledge their presence due to a vastly different body and chemical makeup.
