A Parent's Worst Nightmare

On a pleasant September morning in 1982, a 12 year old boy disappeared in West Des Moines, Iowa. His name was Johnny Gosch. What transpired that day was the beginning of a worldwide eye-opener to the atrocities of pedophilia and child trafficking in America. One woman, Noreen Gosch (Johnny's mother), out of grief and desperation, began a personal mission to reveal the truth behind her son' s kidnapping and expose an unbelieveable politically linked cover-up. For this reason, I dedicate this article to Noreen Gosch, who stands alone as a pioneer, pillar of strength, and symbol of courage for her relentless pursuit of justice in the name of moral humanity.

Johnny was kidnapped while he began his morning paper route for the Des Moines Register in West Des Moines, Iowa on September 5, 1982. Witnesses to the kidnapping state that a man stopped and asked Johnny for directions. Johnny told another paper boy that the man frightened him. He was followed until he was out of sight of the others, then snatched by 2 men who held him down in the back seat of an old Fairmont. Witnesses saw the car screeching tires as it made a hasty getaway.

No one present reported the strange incident immediately. It wasn't until Johnny's parents received a phone call wanting to know why the newspaper wasn't delivered that they realized something was wrong. When Johnny's father discovered his wagon full of undelivered newspapers, he immediately informed Noreen and the police were called.

This is where the story gets strange and humiliating. The police were slow to respond and considered Johnny to be a runaway, even after questioning reports of the screeching vehicle and the strange behavior of the man asking for directions. But Noreen Gosch was a force to be reckoned with. She immediately begin phoning friends and acquaintances to organize a search party because the police department was doing nothing. What started as a peaceful morning for a blended family, turned into a nightmare that extends to this very day.

Noreen Gosch Conducts Her Own Investigation

As the days and weeks went by, Noreen realized she wasn't going to get the help she needed from the local authorities or the FBI. She contacted local and national media to cover the story, which was shown nation-wide on many television stations across the country. She contacted a private investigator who followed up on leads that were never pursued by law enforcement. What she learned horrified her: Johnny was kidnapped for the sole purpose of use in a global pedophile and pornography ring. He was not killed. He was being kept alive and subjected to trauma and torture of a satanic/sexual nature to beat down his self-consciousness to make him vulnerable to brainwashing. Why? So he would become a "slave" to the very cult that abducted him.

About 6 months after Johnny's kidnapping, a woman was approached by a young boy in the parking lot of a convenience store in Oklahoma screaming "I'm Johnny Gosch, I've been kidnapped!" He was immediately accosted by 2 men who grabbed him and were never seen again. Over the next few years, other evidence surfaced. A dollar bill was turned over to the Gosch's with the following message "I am alive. Johnny Gosch." Noreen confirmed this was Johnny's handwriting. Another clue surfaced in Denver, Colorado. "Johnny Gosch was here" was found written on the wall, in red nail polish, in the restroom of a public eatery. Noreen knew in her heart her son was alive. She would never give up her fight to reveal the hushed truth about his abduction.

Other Victims Come Forward

Noreen learned that the child sex trafficking organization that took Johnny had direct connections to extreme "higher ups", including the CIA, the military, and politicians in Washington DC. This information was later confirmed by other victims of the same ring. Over the years, with the help of media, friends, and private investigators, Noreen was able to personally meet with these victims who had actually been with Johnny and knew him personally. They were able to give her updated information on his condition, but didn't know where he was. Noreen learned that Johnny and another boy had eventually escaped their captors and were living in hiding, fearing for their lives.

Johnny's Visit in 1997

Noreen never gave up her search for Johnny. She continued to give regular press releases, made public appearances, and engaged in activism on behalf of missing children. Through her efforts, Johnny and other kidnapped victims became the first abducted children to have their pictures placed on milk cartons in hopes of someone coming forward with information on their whereabouts. Many leads came in over the years, but none that led her directly to Johnny.

Early one morning in 1997, not long after Noreen made a television appearance with a special message for Johnny, she was awakened by a knock on her door. She looked through the peephole and saw 2 young men. She stated, "Who is it?" A voice answered, "Mom, it's me...Johnny. Can I come in?" She immediately opened the door and instantly knew this was the son she hadn't seen for 15 years. Their meeting was short-lived. Johnny hadn't come home to stay; he came to ask his mother for help. He gave her a brief account of the last few years. The pieces of the puzzle began to come into place as Noreen finally confirmed what she'd known all along. He was very nervous during their reunion and declared he was still in great danger and needed his mother to help bring his abductors to justice so he wouldn't have to live in fear the rest of his life. Johnny stayed with Noreen for only a few hours, then left before daylight, disappearing into the night to leave his mother with nothing but the secret memory of his visitation.

Noreen Continues Her Fight for Justice

Noreen Gosch has persistently continued to bring national attention to the plight of her son and the countless other innocent victims who have been tortured by networks of pedophiles connected to the same ring who abused Johnny. Noreen published a book in 2000 titled "Why Johnny Can't Come Home" to give a detailed account of everything she learned connected to the case. The book is packed with information she's accumulated over the years, including shocking truths about the lies and cover-ups of the very authority figures we depend on to protect us.

Noreen founded The Johnny Gosch Foundation in 1982, shortly after his disappearance. The purpose of the organization, according to the website, is..." to educate others as to the reality and seriousness of kidnapping, pornography and how it could happen to your family! The dangers of Pedophiles and how cunningly they operate in our country."

Johnny's story has been told on many national radio and television talk shows including America's Most Wanted, Vanished, With Beth Holloway, and Geraldo at Large. It's important to keep the story alive so that there can be justice for those victims who have suffered at the hands of this evil organization.

The quest of one woman, born out of grief and desperation, became a personal mission to reveal the truth behind a national tragedy. The story of Johnny Gosch remains the most shocking account of child abduction in recent history. If it weren't for the efforts of Noreen Gosch, a pioneer and pillar of strength who stands for courage and truth, the sad narrative of Johnny's fate would never have been revealed. As for Johnny, he's somewhere out there waiting for the justice that's long overdue.

I don't doubt something horrific happened to this boy, and I applaud her diligence in helping others, but I can't shake the off feeling the mother gives me. Her body language and eye contact in all of her interviews is strange & questionable. Anyone else notice that?

They don't care who they hurt. Did you know that one of the "boy victims" identified then VP GHW. Bush as one of the men present at one of the "parties" that the pedophile Franklin would hold in DC?

The mind control programme MK uktra mind kontrolle started in the concentration camps Daucahu and Auschwitz by Dr Mengele and others.Later these evil nazi Drs were smuggled into the Usaby the Red cross to work for the USA intelligence.

Monarchs used as spies include Marilyn Monroe who was brainwashed and used to get secrets from the Kennedys,Anne Nicole Smith is another victim. If you are scared you should be.

Without netflix we wouldnt have remembered poor Johnny .Many ideas we have, he was sold by his father who had debts to the perverts, maybe the father was part of the nazi satanic cult popular in top tiers of the USA goverment in the 80s and did this in secret behind the mother Noreens back.If he was purchased by Michael Aquino he would have been brainwashed MK ultra style .He would have survived as he was good for selling to other cult members and experimenting perverts .Gosch is a german name.I believe Paul Bonnaci is telling the truth. Not sure if Johhny lives under the identity of Jeff Garron but I believe if it is him he is waiting for certain Bushy people to die before he tells his tale.Rather like the Jimmy Savville scandal.

    • Alana Ronald 10 days ago

He can't come home. He would be killed with his mother, likely. But we have known about this for years, yet it continues. The obfuscation sounds too eerily similar to that in the JonBenet Ramsey case.

I hope that Johnny Gosch is able to return home.

    • Little Bright Feather 3 weeks ago

How can the father pretend to be so concerned when he himself set up his own son's kidnapping ? And was the fake Noreen ever discovered why that was done ? The reason behind that could clear up a lot of questions.

*I hope the police Chief and the FBI were prosecuted for their dereliction of duty.

The link to the Foundation should be also put everywhere this story goes, because this kidnapping ring is bigger then ever today. And we all know it goes all the way to the top!

WE also know WHO are the top runners of it and has been since the 1980's. They are top people we see all the time and it cannot get any higher !

Lean on everyone involved in or connected to the International Child Prostitution Network. There is a weak link somewhere. We need to find that weak link. We need someone with inside knowledge to come forward. Dig up all the names of those involved, lean of Cheryl Mills. Even lean on Loretta Lynch. Neither of these two women look like they are pedophiles, they may only be trying to stay alive. Ask them to come forward.

Yes, pedophile rings exist. The perpetrators of these heinous acts must be brought to justice.

However, Johnny Gosch was not inv0lved in a pedophile ring.

In the documentary "Who Took Johnny," John Leonard Gosch displays a photograph of the wagon Johnny used to haul newspapers. He says, "That's what I found that morning; sitting there empty."

Well Leonard, your story has always been you found an abandoned wagon full of newspapers, and you even claimed in a Des Moines Register news story that day after the disappearance that you delivered the papers to complete Johnny's route.

Stop buying Noreen's load of crap and start researching the case. I recommend reading the Des Moines Register accounts from September 6, 1982 on for at least the first two month s after the disappearance.

Law enforcement did not drop the ball; people that believe the fairy tales spewed by Noreen dropped the ball.

My heart just ached for Noreen, watching how uncooperative the police, FBI and all those who should have helped bring her son home, were. Then to find out that they were part of this disgusting sex ring. Power from public officials we trust, turned upside down. Shame on them. They will get there's. May God bless Noreen. A one-woman pioneer, who tried to bring justice in a sick perverted power-hungry officials, in the vein of bringing her son home. She suffered verbal abuse and neglect, IMO yet she kept forging forward. I so admire her strength and her spirit. There is a special place in hell for child molesters and may they rot in hell. Shame on them for calling a desperate mother "a loon", when in fact, they were the ones who were efed-up.

What is this person's name? Surely you want to protect other children.

    • Amy 7 weeks ago

Maxoxam is right and I agree 100%. Why are there not raids against these people who commit these atrocious acts? it doesn't seem right at all. There must be cooperation between the law enforcement/police departments in each town and the parents and family of the victims. There should be agencies that are connected to the law enforcement to capture these criminals. Not enough is being done, and Mr. Gosch is right, if you need to find your child, you need to do it yourself as no one else will help you. This is horrible.

I helped a carpenter I hired to find a nephew in S. America by calling a number to help locate him; he had been missing 5 days. The number was 1 (888) 373-7888. We need more light to be shed on human trafficking--too many missing people, too many suffering families. I cannot imagine the hurt they are going through--and pray it never happens to my own children who are adults now. We need more organizations to take hold of this atrocity, and it frightens me to know that the "higher ups" are involved. I myself will volunteer for this--I have decided to.

The pedophilia bust has been coming out since 2012, but it is recently hit the US for this year for two major bust. The Wikileaks for Hillary are another part of this huge exposure and yet their own language will be difficult for evidence since their using coding when communicating among each other. These are evil and yet clever in how they hide their transactions. Many of the victims do their dirty work in human and drug trafficking, so we are seeing victims like Paul Bonacci and Alison Olsen being prosecuted for being forced to carry out these criminal acts. The victims will be killed like Tony Boner that was found dead while getting treatment for a small injury to his leg in the hospital.

I have done a lot of research ever since I saw the documentary on Netflix. I believe Noreen is telling the truth and there is a lot more corruption and unlawfulness within our own CIA, FBI and political figures. It is so hard to believe at first and many people turn their backs saying it just can't be true. Luckily there are some of us who believe that these atrocities really do happen and can spread the information. Too many people have died in this case who were trying to uncover it and name the key political figures. Some were within the newspapers and our own police forces. There are a lot of sick individuals out there and they need to be stopped. Kudos for Noreen for keeping this story alive and the journalists who keep writing about it. We need to get these peoples names out and let our country know what they are capable of.

Honeybee: I don't think you understand the complexity of the situation. If he had "come home" then, for good, it would have created a media frenzy that would have endangered himself and others. Plus, he was already enmeshed so deep in the lifestyle, how could he explain himself? I'm sure he continued in illegal activity, of some sort (not pedophilia)...he'd have to explain why. And you know the outcome of that: jail time. He was a victim, and yes, no longer a victim, but he's doing the only thing he knows to do now: stay quite.

    • Honeybee71 2 months ago

How is everyone overlooking the obvious here?! THE KID CAME HOME (supposedly) and this "strong" mom just let him leave? Really?! I don't think so.

    • Katfish57 2 months ago

This is such a tradgedy! Johnny may be too deep in activity by this age to come forward. But others may be saved. Sweetpeavon you need to make the full name public now. It could be used in a new investigation.

I lived a few blocks from the Goshes.and I recall every detail when Johnny vanished .not long after Eugine Martin also vanished also a Des Moines paper not. I contacted the police about Johnnys case when they showed a sketch of one of the men they believed had taken him. I gave them the guys name full name and was told they would look into it. Then never heard another word on it. Not on tv or anything. To this day I wonder why. And yes Noreen has told the truth . Mr Gosh even commented one time that she was crazy and that Johnny had run away from home. But he had not because when Eugene Martin disappeared witnesses stated that they had seen the same car and men . But as with Johnnys nothing happened .sad .tragic.

I'm absolutely horrified by this case. Watched the documentary recently and can't get it out of my head. I believe Noreen. There was way too many unfollowed leads , cover ups by police, negligence by FBI and CIA. Way too many witnesses to these 'higher ups' for it not to be true. High powered society is a law to itself. It sickens me to the core.

The sex industry is apparently the biggest profit making business in the world. Too little has been done to protect vulnerable girls and boys from this evil business. The western world has done nothing but promote the sex trade. Greed is the root of all evil.

However I do believe the good will always prevail. Keep your story going Noreen you are an inspiration. I believe Johnny will tell his story one day.Its never too late.

      God love you.

The Johnny Gosch case was the beginning of a series of criminal activity through the CIA, Temple of Set, and the government for human and drug trafficking. There is confirmation that Jeffery Gannon is Johnny Gosch through scars and a birthmark on his body. Paul Bonacci and Alisha Owens seen Johnny alive in the late 80s before they both went to jail for involvement to sexual assault and drug trafficking. They program these children into an occult for working CIA operations of illegal activity. I believe that Jeffery Gannon intentionally kept this initials the same for giving a message to Noreen. He is also involved to the White House directly and this is what puts him at great risk. I hope someone kidnaps him and deprograms him for becoming a witness like many of the victims. There is enough evidence to prosecute these criminals of the Illuminati Satanist Occut members. I would like to see our government overturned also.

This is the best thing a mother can do. Open the eyes to everyone else who is blinded by what goes on with sex trafficking and pedophiles. I think she is one of the strongest mothers I have ever heard about. Not backing down for shit. I think we have more good people in this world. We can get these bastards out of here. Not just in jail but they deserve the death penalty. No second chances. These are our kids.. If we give the death penalty to anyone who murders kids can you imagine how many other kids will be saved. Even if they don't have parents to fight for them, this still shouldn't happen. And for the kids who go missing, and parents keep quiet is just horrible. I wouldn't care what would happen to me. Someone takes my kids, you better believe I'll be after your ass. Only if we can find a Dexter... Wouldn't that be great... How many kids will not be taken from a family. How many siblings wouldn't be torn apart. Someone knows someone who knows something or has seen something. They will hopefully start talking and doing the right thing. I believe this will stop. I say we should start taking extra steps.... I wouldn't list what we should be doing because someone reading this could possibly be the ones who kidnaps. And yes I am always paranoid but we have sick shits who read up on kids they kidnap. But I say we should start fighting back.. Maybe someone in the ring will start offing the pieces of shits... Because that's what they are!!!!!

    • Bballdjc 3 months ago

I have done extensive research regarding Johnny Gosch and many kids like him. If you look into the Franklin Coverup and find out about Kathy O'Brien is one of these kids raised into a satanist occult family that allows their kids to be sexually abused and programmed. Also, Johnny's dad could of been one of these kids himself growing up into an occult or involved to the people associated with this newspaper company. The question remains to ...Why didn't Johnny's father go out that morning to deliver papers and who wanted Johnny to get this newspaper job? Often these seeds are planted into a child's mind and I bet his father is 100% responsible for setting this entire event up that morning. Someotimes kids are killed due to sexual deviation and sometimes they are kidnapped for human and drug trafficing. It is now coming out about the pedophilia rings involved to high profiled people in our government, justice system, and through many affiliations with children welfare such as foster care and juvenile detentions. You have to look into the responsible parties and it will help you to understand how the cases are linking together. Jon Bonnet and her father being involved to the intelligence of the CIA. This is all involved to the Temple of Set with association to the military and CIA for using MK Ultra programming of children and their victims. This is building through generations of people being programmed and offspring of running this occult...Because who in their right mind would participate in sexually abusing and murdering children.

Noreen is one strong lady! Kudos to you Noreen for keeping the memory of your son alive and trying to find the truth on what really happened. I am about the same age as Johnny.. I grew up hearing of his disappearance, I am from Kitchener Ontario Canada... your is known up here. I consider myself a strong woman who has been through a lot. I lost my daughter to suicide 13 yrs ago. She was only 13 she was sexually abused, bullied .. couldn't live with what had happen to her. She turned to drugs to end her pain. Losing a child is so hard ... I know why she took her life, do I agree or understand it completely no.

Can't tell you how much strength and courage to tell your story helped me. I tell my story when I can in hopes that it may help a grieving family member or a person thinking about ending their life.

      Keep sharing your story

This is the most haunting case that I've ever read about it. This young boy's childhood and teenage years were stolen from him. If he is still alive and ever came forward, it would make national news and shock everybody. These psychos are probably dead now, so I would think it would be safe to come out of hiding. What a sad and tragic story.

    • Bballdjc 4 months ago

I watched the Netflix "Who Took Johnny" and this was a puzzle that I needed to research. So many connecting pieces for human trafficing for an occult satanist called " The Temple of Set" is involved to our military, government, justice, catholic church, and the royal family. It was brought up about the royal family being involved with 12 children and turned up missing. This occult's mission is to use MK Ultra programming on children when their young for becoming CIA and placed in positions for controlling many government agencies that we see today. The sexual abuse is only for assisting with programming these children into total submission and humilation for mind control purposes. They use them for human and drug trafficing. We are witnessing today in our government the reasons why justice isn't working and people getting away with crimes like 911 because of the many layers of people involved with this occult for being mind controlled. We have to demand for removing judges and finding a way of overturning our government right now.

You are right. There is a cover up. But I guarantee it's not the mother. The Dad seems to be the one who was acting weird. If you read "Why Johnny Can't Come Home" you'll get the full story. It was self published and hard to find, but it tells the story.

I just came across this story and read through all of the facts and details. am gonna go out on a limb, but something dosent add up quite right with the mother. I think some how some ways she knows way more than shes saying or she was involved with the disappearance and cover up. the fact the father went on every newspaper route except for the one he was abducted should raise a whole bunch of flags and then their response to everything is very strange to say the least. I know i will be booed here and anywhere else I say this, but i seek the truth and the story people are believing leads straight to a cover up. I hope someone will pop up who can expose the truth

This was done by no neighbor. It stinks to high heaven of a conspiracy cover-up from the police department all the way up. Which to me is a more plausible reason than herion for Johnny not to be able to come home.......ever. How is it that the police department say a lead is dead, but never follow up or investigated it?

    • Dan.DM.z 4 months ago

I haven't seen anybody talking about an investigation about potential sex offenders in the area. Most likely this kid was abducted by a neighbor, killed and buried in the backyard but everybody got obsessed w conspiracy theories. Dad got fed up w that and probably ended up divorcing Noreen. Usually the last person to see him usually was the one involved. Another kid dissapeared in the area and they still think it was a pedophile sex ring accross the continent, meanwhile the true pedophile was having the time of his life. Somebody in the neighborhood should go back and start from zero on his investigation.

I am heartbroken for Noreen..what a courageous brave strong lady. Sadly, at the time her son was stolen, the police and other authority figures frowned on strong ladies (her son had been stolen and they were overlooking important facts! Plus, child trafficking was not yet much heard of and no one wanted to recognize it hiding their heads in the sand!) But to expose something, it takes the bravery of Noreen Goesh and John Walsh (Adam Walsh's Dad) to be brave warriors and bring public attention to not only what happened to their children and in the hopes of finding what happened to them, but the sordid facts and the bigger picture that caused their children to be taken by these sick evil people. Noreen, God Bless are not a loon..and you know that as does everyone else! You are a strong strong brave woman fighting for her son. Noreen, my prayer is your John will come home soon! I watched the documentary on Netflix and it broke my heart and I cried for you and your husband and for John. Shame on the police at that time involved in the case. I will pray for John every day and pray he is able to come home soon!

I've seen somethings, read somethings about this.. I remember seeing John's face on a milk carton while eating cereal in the morning.

What I have not seen is how was John's family life up to that Sunday morning. How did he get along with his father, mother and half siblings?

Id like to see a police report on interviewing John's closes friends at the time. Is there one? Also an interview with John's half siblings. Is there one?

Besides his family, who saw him last. What was the duration of time between Sunday morning and the last time his friends saw him?

On that Sunday morning did witnesses hear him scream for help. Plenty of people seen him, but did anyone hear his voice?

Can everyone that saw him that Sunday morning 100% verify that who they saw was him?

On that Sunday morning was his dog tied to the wagon on his leash. Where was the dog at and how was he/she placed? Was this normal?

Who were the parents involved with up to that Sunday morning. Were there any visitors at the home in recent time that had not been seen before, or after John's disappearance?

Did police or any law enforcement look into checking and savings accounts owned by his parents. Did they check credit card purchases up to that Sunday morning. Is there a timeline on the parents whereabouts up to that Sunday morning?

From what I have seen and read, this case took a week to move forward. I have never read anything about this case working back from the time John came up missing.

This story has made me afraid of the dark for over 34yrs .I was a Des Moines Register and Tribune Paper carrier too, I well aware of both abductions, my mother made us quit delivering not long after Eugene Martin and I don't remember what kind of car the two men drove but it was a convertible like a Buick or Nova they couldn't get us because my brother in law was always with us, I've lived in GA for 32yrs I pray everyday for these families. Out of curiosity did anyone find out if the man responsible for the latest young man could have any thing to do with this I believe he is in jail in Minnesota

Saw Netflix documentary and I believe Noreen. Yes I would seem very crazy too to a lot of people if I had to survive without one of my 3 children. I think she's very calm and driven. I'm not sure that I would be this patient or kind to Bonnaci.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but unless you are in her situation you will never know how she feels or how you would react in her case. My heart goes out to her and I am so grateful that my kids survived childhood. I feel guilty myself because many times I took them to the beach and would fall asleep. Or went to Disneyland and left them there in their teens. Gosh I'm so grateful that I have my healthy kids because this could happen to anyone.

God bless you Noreen for fighting so hard for all of us.

This has got to be one of the most horrible, perplexing cases that I've every heard. This poor mother has gone through hell & back and deserves some sort of peace & closure. All I can say is, these people that committed these terrible crimes will pay a high price when they meet their maker. I'm a firm believer in that! God help their souls, because we are all here a short time, but once we are deceased, that's for eternity. I hope Johnny Gosch is still alive and has access to the internet and can somehow get in contact with his mother again. God bless him and his mother.

What is the name of the organization? I remember in the 90s a 10 year old girl named Mikell Biggs vanished, unseen by any witness in Mesa Az. Not long after stories went around that her father owed drug money and she was kidnapped for snuff films by some Pedophile ring called Midnight productions. That its members were in Law Enforcement, Politics, big money people. I dont believe for a minute a child can be picked up in broad daylight off her bike as she is riding to meet the ice cream truck thats already on the street, and nobody seeing it. People think he handed her off personally. You never know who is doing what.

I've done a lot of research into everything surrounding the Franklin Scandal. I am well aware of how disturbingly deep it all goes. And I'm aware of how highly it reaches amongst the "elite."

Upon researching this subject I also used to buy every claim Paul Bonacci made. I also use to have incredible amount of empathy for Noreen Gosch.

Then, after being aware of the site for a good five years or so I finally decided to join so that I could read the forums (you can't read them unless you're a member. And I didn't join sooner because quite frankly I wondered who might be monitoring the place given just how high reaching it all goes. Eventually my curiosity simply got the better of me).

Ironically enough, it was upon joining that site that I came across things that made me start wondering about what the real deal is with Noreen Gosch and other facets of things pertaining to the Franklin Scandal and Johnny Gosch kidnapping.

I'd go into more detail about all that, but it'd turn this into a very lengthy reply. In short though I found that forum does little to promote discussion on either subject. They go and run off nearly everyone that asks questions about the case and do not fully believe everything Noreen has to say about it (she used to post at the site, as did a supposed investigator of hers that used the handle LukeJ... a number of people felt LukeJ was also Noreen, but that's a whole nuther issue).

Anyways, I just wanted to state that I am more familiar with all of this than typical person happens to be with it. Quite frankly, I'm more aware of it and how true it is than I sometimes wish I was.

It's upon doing so much research that I ended feeling it'd be irresponsible of me to overlook questionable things simply because it meant questioning the likes of people such as Noreen Gosch and Paul Bonacci.

I'm not saying those two offer nothing but lies, but I've come to learn they are not beyond reproach and feel they could do far more if they were more direct in offering up the truth about things in a more direct manner.

As for their lives being at risk, I don't believe that to be the case. Noreen is too much of a public figure at this point. And as for Paul Bonacci I tend to think they'd have killed him quite sometime ago had they wanted to. He's on videotape claiming he witnessed Bush Sr. receiving oral sex on two separate occasions from males involved in Lawrence E. King's child sex ring.

He's also stated his abuse at the hands of Barney Frank, along with numerous other claims. What disappoints me regarding him though is that he refuses to address his more fantastical claims anymore. The only things he seems to speak on any more is his proclaimed knowledge of the Johnny Gosch kidnapping. He never seems to any longer go into the wild claims he made when all of this was initially being investigated.

I wish there was a black and white way of at least being able to determine what is truthful amongst those making the claims. When you delve into this more and more though, you come to realize there is reason to question some of the claims made.

That said, I do not doubt the existence of these child sex rings and the fact high ranking members of society are directly linked to them and the cover-up. It's just that it seems to be more twisted than you could even imagine upon initially realizing that to begin with.

When it comes to Noreen Gosch, it just greatly concerns me that she isn't willing to publicly call out and pursue her husband's apparent involvement in her child's kidnapping. If you believe he's involved, how could you not pursue him?

And if you don't believe he's involved than what are we left to make about Paul Bonacci's claims?

It's a difficult dilemma to overlook for those that realize apparent victims of these horific crimes shouldn't simply be allowed to be beyond questioning even when their claims pose legitimate questions to be asked.

    • Blaine Ward 17 months ago

TakiesCues, you have to understand that the police, the FBI, the government, they're all in on it. Why do you think they tried so hard to discredit Paul Bonacci's every word, or anyone else's for that matter? It's obvious. Anyone who tries to expose these pedophile/sex rings will immediately get attacked and discredited. If not killed. Too many important people are involved. The tentacles of such organisations are very far-reaching and the rabbit hole goes deeper than you could ever imagine.

I for one believe that Johnny Gosch's father was involved. As for Noreen, she has to be very careful as to what she reveals, if she wants to stay alive.

    • TakingCues 17 months ago

You trust Noreen to answer those questions? When, another 30 years from now?

It doesn't make any sense not to pursue the most tangible suspect you have. And if Mr. Gosch has been cleared as a suspect then there is valid reason to question all of Bonacci's claims pertaining to the Johnny Gosch kidnapping - claims which Noreen has stated she fully believes.

So whatever the answers to these questions may be, either way it poses serious concerns about what's been going on regarding the case.

Placing blind faith in Noreen that she will someday answer these questions when it's been since the early 1990s that she already gained this supposed info from Paul Bonacci doesn't accomplish anything.

Well, actually, in my opinion all it accomplishes is for people to cast aside the doubt that would arise when you start looking more deeply into all of this. It'd be one thing if it's been only a few years since the crime, but after 30-plus? That's been plenty of time to take action against Mr. Gosch.

She could've also taken easy action against Mr. Gosch and/or the woman claiming to be her when that came to light. Instead, no legal action was ever taken. She simply posted it in her book and left it at that.

For someone so concerned about holding those responsible for taking her child these non-actions are quite puzzling.

    • donotfear profile image

donotfear 17 months ago from The Boondocks

And I will trust Noreen to answer those questions. I've never talked to her, but I know she is telling the truth. I think personally that her husband was a pos.

    • TakingCues 17 months ago

Paul Bonacci has stated that Mr. Gosch is the one who tipped off the kidnappers about how Johnny would be delivering papers alone the morning he was captured. Bonacci also claims he was involved first hand in kidnapping Johnny.

Noreen has stated she believes Bonacci is telling the truth about how he was involved in kidnapping Johnny. If Bonacci is telling the truth about that, why would he lie about Mr. Gosch's involvement? And if he is lying about Mr. Gosch's involvement then why would anyone believe his claim that he was part of the kidnapping?

In addition to this Mr. Gosch is known to have visited Paul Bonacci while he was in jail - and John DeCamp at his office - with a woman posing as his wife, Noreen (before they divorced). Noreen makes mention of this in her "Why Johnny Can't Come Home" book. She even provides a picture of the woman with Mr. Gosch. This places Mr. Gosch under further suspicion when coupled with Bonacci's claim that Mr. Gosch was involved in Johnny's kidnapping.

Another puzzling aspect of this is that even though Bonacci says Mr. Gosch was involved in the kidnapping of Johnny, he was still willing to meet with him in a cooperative manner when Mr. Gosch came to visit him in jail while accomponied by a woman he believed was Mrs. Gosch.

All of the above is very puzzling in my opinion. And it creates some serious issues based upon whether or not Bonacci was telling the truth in his claim about Mr. Gosch being the one who tipped the kidnappers off as to how Johnny would be delivering the papers alone that morning.

If that's the truth then why isn't Mr. Gosch pursued as a primary suspect? If it's a lie then how are we to believe Bonacci's other claims of being part of the crime, and why did he tell it (it's a pretty serious charge after all, not something one would state without knowing for certain)?

And regarding the Noreen imposter, the real Noreen has stated that they figured out the woman's true identity. Despite this, to best of my knowledge, they never pursued her for questioning.

It's also been said the the woman suffered a stroke upon learning she was pictured in Noreen's book. I'm pretty sure Noreen and/or her investigators are the ones that stated that.

The above questions are valid ones to be asked. And whatever the truth is about them is crucial to the case. If answered one way, then Noreen should be pursuing her husband as a suspect. If answered another way then it calls into question everything Bonacci has told Noreen about his involvement in the case.

It's hard to believe in this society, this goes on. I've always kept Johnny Gosh in my prayers that someday he would be home with his family. When my children were little and just starting to go to school, I always watched them at the bus stops and waited for them to get on the bus. They hated me for that. This was around the time when kids were being kidnapped all around the country. I made sure they survived child hood. Now that they have children of their own, I hope they took some of my concern with them. God bless our children. We as parents are all they have at their young age. God bless Noreen Gosh for all she has put up with over the years. To the poor excuse of a Police Chief and others involved, it's going to be hot where their going after they die. Johnny, Come home buddy. There are people who live you. They will understand.

Scary world. If Johnny ever reads this I hope he knows the sic fux that did this don't represent the entire planet. I live about four blocks away from the street where Johnny was kidnapped. I jog by there on occasion.....and when I is with a heavy heart. I wish he'd come home and hold a press conference right there on Marcourt....and name names.

    • Lee 2 years ago

His father was not involved at all. I don't believe that Johnny visited Noreen, but that he's been long gone, oh and I know this seems a little weird but I think that Marc Allen case is related as well -ALSO around 2 yrs later-that or one of these isn't related to the other-as a every 2 yrs pattern is so weird-except when the victim grows out of the targetted age-which is more true when males are kidnapped-example being Michael Devlin.

Not ruling out that Johnny couldn't still be alive but I don't know about his mother's state of mind.

Also John Gosch was polygraphed and looked at more than once.

what I find so peculiar though is that they never looked to Minnesota even later in cases like these-particurally when this story first broke in 2002. and if not in John Gosch then maybe the wetterling case that is if that main suspect(dan rassier? ) isn't guilty.

This article is an updated 2014 version, but this mainly went on in the 1980s through early 2000s. Pedophile priests bussed from abbey to abbey to a college campus. where ironically enough another JG dissapeared from.

This is a very good story. I had not heard of this one before. There may be some bad policemen but you still need to work with them. If that is true the boy should not have gone back. You need to trust the police. They will do something. Look what has happened now with Jaycee Dugard. I was afraid to go to the police before and I thought they would not believe me. I had no evidence. You need to go to the police and get out of it. You cannot live in fear like that.

But he didn't go to jail for the abuse; he went for defrauding a credit union. It's a sick world out there, where molesters are given a slap on the wrist, while somebody else gets 25 years for drugs.

It's not known for sure where Johnny is today. There are a few people who know, but he wants it private. Not even his mother knows; or she may know, but not want to reveal his whereabouts. He escaped his original kidnappers in his late teens, I think. But was too terrified to come home. It's all documented in Maureen's book "Why Johnny Can't Come Home".

@donotfear - Yes, as I said, "too many people suffer from "mental illness" and commit "crimes against our children" I realize this story is a "true story" and I think the criminals are also mentally ill! Often crimes and mental illness go hand in hand. (not that you disagree) As I said, the mother's "love and determination" was and is the driving force of inspiration. In addition - I feel many of these crimes involve "pedophilia acts" against the victims once they are kidnapped. Please excuse me if I wasn't clear on that. In closing, pedophilia acts are more common in families then you think and often the children are taught to believe it's a "normal" part of life. Donotfear, you told a well written "true story" which must be kept alive! I'm sure I speak for most in saying that. I have a question? Would you mind if I copied your hub to my page? And since I'm new here, how do I do that? Cheers!

I was familiar with this story among others that have come to light over the years -without the courage of women like Noreen Gosch and other families fighting for justice this would still be a political skeleton. I was relieved to see that her son is still alive. Although imaging how he has lived and continues to live in fear makes me truly ill. My hats off to you for bringing this problem to the forefront - too many people suffer from mental illness and commit crimes against our children. The "pedophilia" problems are not uncommon among families as well. I know people who grew up in a household where the father was guilty of such crimes and sinful acts against his daughter! As it turned out, his brother was guilty of such sin also. Often the other children feel helpless to do anything about it and even told the sex acts were a normal part of life. That's why you have "Incest" among families! It seems to be widespread in the south, Nebraska and Tennessee. You told a good story here. I admire the mother's love and determination! We all need to speak up against these sinful crimes because many who suffer this type of life style as a child (Incest) will not admit it after becoming an adult and live in denial. Very sad. Thanks for sharing the information donotfear. Cheers!

This is so shows how strong a mother's love is. What courage and strength she has to keep looking and helping others to find her and others taken or lost children. Thank you for sharing, making more aware.

Thanks, Blake!! I knew the Monarch project was connected to Johnny's abduction. Thanks for the link and I'll check it out.

It sounds like this boy and others were part of the Phoenix Program and Monarch 2012. I did a hub on this government operation and others related to it, if you search Monarch 2012 you will find it on the hubs. There was a lot of details, you might be interested. Like your writing and interest in the unusual but with healthy skepticism. Good job DNF. Keep on Hubbing. Blake4d

thank you, Pooh granma!! I'm so glad you watched Noreen's personal account of this horrific story. Yes, it needs to remain active and we need to speak out. Please pass it on to others to warn them...

Yogakat, this only hits the tip of the iceberg on this case. Noreen actually got information from a reliable source telling her that there would be another kidnapping, what day, and where. She told authorities and was ignored. This happened time and again, even with the FBI. It was like they didn't want to solve the case; mainly because some of their own were connected.

This ATROCITY needs to be told and retold. A mother's worst nightmare. Great writing. Voted UP.

I watched the two hundred plus minute video interview with Johnny's mother, Noreen, and it took me most of the day with all of the interruptions. I doubt many will take the time, but they need to. I have never heard of or seen this video and learned so much information that was never (to my knowledge) released. I live only a couple of hundred miles from Des Moines and remember well when Johnny disappeared, when the pictures first came out on milk cartons and I admit I was deep in the existence and troubles of my own life during some of this time period but I honestly do not remember half of what she reveled in the video becoming public knowledge.

We do block information that scares us so deeply we're not equipped to deal with. Parents have a particular denial about anything so horrendous and powerful thriving all over the world. One thing I noticed that Moreen said was that is was the public outcry that stirred action in the local police and FBI in the second kidnapping, though this young man has never been found.

We have to be educated and stay aware. We have to speak and act for those who have no voice and no choices. This is such a tremendously important article that you have written. I will re-post it on my FB and all of the social sites I belong to.

There were other paper boys kidnapped after Johnny: in West Des Moines! They were never heard from again. It's sad but true. The society has many webs linking it all over the world.

There have been links with high up people in Belgium and in Northern Ireland. And of course the Catholic Chirch almost everywhere.

Law enforcement agencies vary in their approach. Some are excellent and some are not.

This story doesn't surprise me, I've always wondered why there were not many raids against them, why given their recidivist personality the charges against pedophiles were not a life term sentence? It belongs to the people to shout for justice! Not one against them but many!
